Well calling it a revolution is a bit much, lol, but it is true that more and more escorts are now being steadfast about collecting deposits in order to secure a booking. Unfortunately it is the only way to guarantee that if a client doesn't show up, or if he cancels, our time isn't wasted, since time is the commodity we are selling. Deposits have saved me a few times this year. I now prefer them over expecting a gentleman to provide his id along with a selfie. With AI and other ways of counterfeiting pictures and personal identifications, I feel deposits are the safest bet for protecting me from having my time wasted. There have been far to many guys who've been willing to send their id and picture and then cancel last minute, all while refusing to compensate me. So I've then lost that time slot, and have no recourse with the time waster other than to store their id/pics and block their number.....At least with a deposit, I'm not out any money.....

Of course if you read the hobby boards you'll read a lot of comments in which members will stress to never send a deposit.
