Oh the hypocrisy

19 Apr, 2024

This lady is known for being very out spoken about review boards on twitter so I was very surprised to see that she was an advertising member on them and did an interview....after reading it I couldn't help but note the hypocrisy.....especially when lydia congratulated her for being out spoken about her dislike of review boards,  and"johns" and I also couldn't help note the irony... https://www.lyla.ch/topic/187122-an-interview-with-stefania-of-toronto-sex-work-can-be-empowering-and-using-your-voice-for-good/ .  It is a shame that these people just don't get it.....apparently you are heralded when you speak up about such subjects when you are a contributing member, yet when a person, such as myself,  a non-member, does the very same thing, I'm coined as being disgruntled, jealous, bitter, etc, lol....and it's as funny when an escort such as Stefania condemns review boards, and hobbyists, yet advertises on such a board, lol. I will say I agree with all she said about review boards and the "Johns" in her interview, it's just sad that this "Lydia" didn't get that many of those "Johns" are on her board and that her board LYLA) causes many of the problems Stefania spoke of ...

Let me explain something, a review board is just that, a review board. They all have discussion areas, advertising areas, and ways to private message members. They all have moderators. They have many of the same members and those members shift their tones, their ways of speaking, to suit the narrative of each board, that is the only difference between them. I know Lyla/Lydia spends much of it's/her time singing their own praises, trying to hold themselves as being different, they're not. They may have good intentions, but until they see that they are the same and as problematic to the industry as the others, they'll never bring change. In order to change, you have to address and admit the problems, solve them, not circumvent them.....By continuing to deny themselves as being part of the problem, they allow the problem to persist. And again, if you offer the same things, have the same members, you aren't different, you're the same. Some people are blinded by their own needs it seems....
